Privacy Policy

OnIT Solutions is committed to protecting your privacy while we co-design AI solutions with you. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it secure across our consulting, engineering, and automation services.

As an Australian business operating under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), we are legally required to handle personal information responsibly. We take this obligation seriously not just as a legal requirement, but as a reflection of the trust our clients place in us when they share their business data, customer information, and operational workflows with our team.

We collect only the minimum information necessary to deliver our services. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business information to train AI models without explicit consent. If you have any questions about how your data is handled, you can contact our privacy team at any time using the details at the bottom of this page.

When you engage OnIT Solutions for managed IT, cybersecurity, or AI automation services, you are entrusting us with access to your business systems, employee data, and in some cases, your customers' personal information. We treat this access as a serious responsibility. All OnIT Solutions team members and contractors are bound by confidentiality agreements and receive regular training on data handling obligations. Access to client systems and data is granted on a least-privilege basis — engineers are given only the access necessary for the specific task at hand, and all access is logged and auditable.

For clients in regulated industries — healthcare, legal, financial services — we understand that data handling requirements extend beyond our own obligations to include sector-specific legislation such as the My Health Records Act, the Health Records and Information Privacy Act, and ASIC regulatory guides. We work within these frameworks and can provide documentation of our data handling practices to assist with your own compliance obligations. If your business is subject to specific data residency requirements — for example, a requirement that data remain within Australian borders — we accommodate this through our infrastructure choices and vendor selection. Please notify us of any such requirements at the commencement of an engagement.
